Job Requirements
- must be at least 16 years old
- ability to stand and walk approximately 90 to 95 percent of shift
- ability to lift and carry 15 to 25 pounds
- ability to listen to guests orders accurately
- ability to operate cash register
- ability to read video monitors
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- physical stamina to perform fast-paced restaurant duties
- ability to work well with others in a team setting
Job Qualifications
- experience in guest service or food cook/preparation helpful
- ability to communicate clearly in English
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and multiplication
- ability to multitask effectively in a team environment
- knowledge of food safety and handling procedures advantageous

Job Duties
- deliver exceptional guest experience by providing excellent service
- prepare and maintain great tasting and quality food
- maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
- follow Jack in the Box procedures, systems, and standards
- greet and acknowledge guests promptly
- take and clarify orders accurately using POS system
- assemble and package orders ensuring accuracy and quality
- maintain cleanliness of dining area, restrooms, and kitchen workstations
- handle guest complaints professionally using the 3-step approach
- adhere to food safety and sanitation policies
- restock supplies and ingredients following first-in, first-out rotation
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- assist team members as needed to ensure smooth operation
- follow uniform and grooming standards
- participate in receiving and storage of products
- monitor and discard expired or substandard food items
