Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday with possible Saturdays
- Must pass background check if required
- Adhere to Tyson Foods drug screening policies including waiting periods for rehire
- Able to complete safety inspection paperwork accurately
- Prior Tyson employment waiting periods observed
- Ability to operate hand and rider pallet jack safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience operating pallet jacks or relevant material handling equipment
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Understanding of workplace safety practices
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Operate hand and rider pallet jack to transport materials through departments
- Ensure timely unloading and delivery of materials
- Maintain stocked lines and pack-out departments
- Conduct safety inspections of pallet jack and complete related forms
- Communicate effectively using radios and document operational issues
- Lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
- Return equipment and paperwork to designated areas
- Report issues immediately to supervisor
- Perform additional duties as assigned
