Job Duties

  • Perform all opening, side work, and closing duties
  • be knowledgeable of all menu items, ingredients, preparation methods
  • deliver quality food to guests and communicate frequently with both front of house and back of house team members
  • ensure guest satisfaction with food quality and presentation
  • ensure all food and beverages are served promptly, garnished correctly, and meet the J Resort standard of excellence
  • demonstrate a guest-first mindset by placing a high priority on the guest experience
  • effectively communicate with our guests and other team members
  • stay calm under pressure and demonstrate problem-solving skill
  • check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol and follow the Nevada Alcohol Awareness Procedures and The J Resort Company Policies
  • keep all surfaces, equipment, and floors free of food and debris
