Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- guest service orientation
- ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies
- previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Demonstrate a guest-first mindset by placing a high priority on the guest experience
- knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures
- reports potentially unsafe conditions
- uses equipment and materials properly
- adhere to all property appearance and uniform standards
- maintain an open line of vertical and horizontal communication with staff and Management
- assist servers with table maintenance, clearing, marking, and beverage service
- clear and wipe down tables, chairs, booths, ensuring floor is clear of debris after each guest departs
- reset tables for next guest according to department standards
- empties trash, collects and turns in linens
- perform all opening, side work, and closing duties
- maintains general cleanliness of the work area
- be knowledgeable of all menu items, including ingredients and preparation
