Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years experience in restaurant management or similar role
  • Must have upscale, buffet, bar, and restaurant experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in conversational English
  • Prior cash handling experience required
  • Nevada Alcohol Awareness card
  • Nevada Gaming Registration
  • Valid identification to establish identity
  • Proof of right to work in the United States.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 3 to 5 years equivalent work experience
  • Experience in upscale, buffet, bar, and restaurant settings
  • Experience with restaurant management software
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations and inventory management
  • Ability to train and develop staff
  • Proven ability to maintain high standards of service and quality
  • Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and management teams
  • Familiarity with private events planning and execution.

Job Duties

  • Establish and maintain effective channels of communication with all employees in the food and beverage department
  • Assist in front-of-house tasks including hosting, serving, bussing, bartending side work, expediting, and additional assigned duties
  • Partner with the restaurant general manager to ensure financial and payroll-related administrative duties are completed accurately and on time
  • Ensure colleagues have current knowledge of restaurant offerings, products, services, events, pricing, policies, and local area information
  • Maintain active presence throughout the restaurant and event spaces by leading daily line-ups, department meetings, and walk-throughs
  • Manage all restaurant inventories including food, liquor, beer, wine, furniture, accessories, office supplies, equipment, and tools, maintaining detailed documentation
  • Utilize labor effectively to meet budgets while ensuring high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Schedule labor according to anticipated business activity and ensure positions are adequately staffed
  • Supervise all front-of-house employees including interviewing, hiring, training, performance management, and addressing complaints
  • Ensure consistent high quality of food preparation and service, maintaining cleanliness, proper uniforms, health department compliance, and appearance standards
  • Adhere to company procedures and regulations with 100 percent accuracy
  • Participate in staff training on wines, spirits, cocktails, and elevated beverage service
  • Promote a scratch kitchen environment including food offerings and signature cocktails
  • Collaborate with the executive chef to build, plan, and execute private events in dining and lounge areas
  • Assist in promoting the brand within the local community through events and word-of-mouth
  • Train employees on customer service practices in an upscale setting
  • Utilize restaurant management software such as OpenTable, InfoGenesis, and RedRocks.
