Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 3 to 5 years equivalent work experience
  • upscale, buffet, bar, and restaurant experience
  • must be 21 years of age
  • ability to communicate with guests in conversational English
  • prior cash handling experience
  • Nevada Alcohol Awareness card
  • Nevada Gaming Registration
  • identification that establishes identity
  • identification that establishes right to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • experience in upscale, buffet, bar, and restaurant settings
  • ability to communicate clearly in conversational English
  • prior cash handling experience

  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • familiarity with restaurant management software

Job Duties

  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with employees in the Food & Beverage department
  • assist in front-of-house tasks including hosting, serving, bussing, bartending, expediting, and other assignments as needed
  • partner with the restaurant General Manager to manage financial and payroll administrative duties accurately and timely
  • ensure staff are knowledgeable about menu offerings, products, pricing, local events, and company policies
  • maintain an active presence in restaurant and event spaces by leading daily meetings and operational walk-throughs
  • manage all restaurant inventories including food, liquor, and supplies while maintaining detailed records
  • utilize labor effectively to meet budget and quality standards
  • supervise front-of-house employees including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance management
  • ensure high-quality food preparation, service, cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations
  • adhere strictly to company procedures and regulations
  • participate in staff training on beverages
  • promote a from-scratch environment for food and beverages
  • plan and execute private events with the Restaurant Executive Chef
  • promote the restaurant brand within the local community
  • train staff on customer service in an upscale environment
  • maintain familiarity with restaurant management software such as OpenTable, InfoGenesis, and RedRocks
