Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in culinary food and beverage or related professional area
  • Or 2 year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major
  • 2 years experience in culinary food and beverage or related professional area
  • Ability to lead and manage kitchen operations and staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing plans
  • Understanding of financial management and profit and loss responsibility
  • Ability to build and maintain positive guest relations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in culinary food and beverage or related professional area
  • Or 2 year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major with 2 years experience in culinary food and beverage or related professional area
  • Proven leadership skills in culinary and restaurant management
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in marketing social media and public relations in a restaurant setting

Job Duties

  • Develops designs or creates new applications ideas relationships systems or products including making artistic contributions
  • Supervises restaurant kitchen operations
  • Recognizes superior quality products presentations and flavor
  • Plans and manages food quantities and plating requirements for the restaurant
  • Communicates production needs to key personnel
  • Assists in developing daily and seasonal menu items for the restaurant
  • Monitors compliance with all applicable laws regulations policies and procedures
