Job Requirements
- Minimum age 21
- Degree in culinary arts, nutrition, home economics, or H-E-B Culinary certification
- 2+ years of related experience or cooking in professional environment, sales, or demonstrations
- H-E-B Wine selling certification or similar experience
- Completion or ability to complete TABC Certification
- Ability to constantly stand, reach at waist, and grasp
- Ability to occasionally sit, walk, reach overhead, bend, stoop, squat, climb stairs and ladders, pivot, twist, push/pull, and perform fine motor skills
- Ability to lift 60 lbs and manage more than 60 lbs
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Strong knowledge of H-E-B systems
- Advanced communication and customer service skills
- Strong merchandising skills
- Skills in intermediate cooking techniques
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Perform selling activation events in the Cooking Connection kitchen
- Develop recipes targeted to local Customer base
- Engage Customers with culinary expertise and knowledge
- Conduct cooking demonstrations and food preparation methods
- Provide menu and meal planning advice
- Recommend alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage pairings
- Maintain Connections kitchen and merchandising displays
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in Cooking classes and Wine education
- Participate in store events and promote customer engagement
