Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- one or more years of experience in a high-paced kitchen environment preferred
- knowledge of various cooking ingredients preferred
- familiarity with authentic Korean food flavors preferred
- ability to stand, climb or balance, and crouch or kneel occasionally
- ability to occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
- specific vision abilities required such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- use of proper lifting, pushing, and pulling techniques required

Job Duties
- Set up stations and gather all supplies needed to prepare for service
- prepare a variety of foods including meat, seafood, vegetables, and cold foods
- prepare sauces and side dishes for assigned station
- cover, label, date, and properly store all food according to safe food handling procedures
- inform the chef in advance of potential shortages
- prepare made-to-order dishes
- set up sanitizer buckets and towels
- constantly check line equipment to ensure there are no gas leaks
- perform temperature checks of all reach-in and portable refrigerators
- place rubber mats in the station
- conduct taste tests with team members
- restock reach-in refrigerators
- prepare lunch boxes for upcoming rushes
- keep line equipment clean including cleaning the grill, stove, flat top, rice warmers, and underneath equipment
- change liners on top of ranges
- clean sinks of food residues and sanitize
- disinfect preparation area surfaces
- sweep and mop floors
- empty and wash sanitizer buckets
- perform other assigned functions as needed
