Job Requirements

  • Ability to repeatedly lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds
  • Capability to reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend, and stretch as needed
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, hands-on approach to tasks

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug screening for hire and randomly throughout employment
  • Willingness to work occasional weekend hours

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory control work required
  • 1-3 years of prior leadership experience required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word preferred
  • Previous inventory control experience is a plus
  • Forklift experience is an advantage
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work occasional weekend hours
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug screening for hire and randomly throughout employment

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily inventory activities, ensuring accurate record-keeping and inventory levels
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Receive and process inbound shipments
  • Operate forklift equipment as required
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the Inventory Control Coordinator
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members to achieve high performance
  • Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback
  • Delegate tasks and ensure their timely completion
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes and implement best practices
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures for inventory control
  • Work closely with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Collaborate with other departments to address inventory-related issues and improve accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Prepare and analyze inventory reports, providing insights and recommendations to management
  • Manage and respond to emails directed to the Inventory Control team
  • Provide administrative support as needed
