Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree
- minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management and control
- proven knowledge of trade compliance and international logistics
- proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP and Power BI
- strong communication skills
- ability to build relationships
- availability for frequent travel
- legal work authorization to work in the U.S.
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in project execution environment and inventory management
- proven expertise in trade compliance, international shipping and logistics
- strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, SAP and Power BI
- strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- relationship building capabilities
- experience with tariffs is a strong plus
- availability to travel frequently (25%) domestically and internationally
- valid work authorization for employment in the U.S.
Job Duties
- manage end-to-end shipping processes including coordination of import and export freight activities
- ensure timely delivery of materials and products to customers, project sites and inventory locations
- lead and oversee ABB's Supplier Managed Inventory (SMI) program and warehousing operations
- monitor and optimize inventory levels by maintaining accurate records and safety stock coverage
- support supply planning and logistics operations through audits, cycle counts, shipment tracking and documentation
- ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, international trade regulations and tariffs
- drive vendor performance management and inventory control
- promote digital logistics solutions and continuous improvement initiatives
- act as key liaison between factories, project teams, customers and internal stakeholders
