Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree
  • minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management and control
  • proven knowledge of trade compliance and international logistics
  • proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP and Power BI
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to build relationships
  • availability for frequent travel
  • legal work authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in project execution environment and inventory management
  • proven expertise in trade compliance, international shipping and logistics
  • strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, SAP and Power BI
  • strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • relationship building capabilities
  • experience with tariffs is a strong plus
  • availability to travel frequently (25%) domestically and internationally
  • valid work authorization for employment in the U.S.

Job Duties

  • manage end-to-end shipping processes including coordination of import and export freight activities
  • ensure timely delivery of materials and products to customers, project sites and inventory locations
  • lead and oversee ABB's Supplier Managed Inventory (SMI) program and warehousing operations
  • monitor and optimize inventory levels by maintaining accurate records and safety stock coverage
  • support supply planning and logistics operations through audits, cycle counts, shipment tracking and documentation
  • ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, international trade regulations and tariffs
  • drive vendor performance management and inventory control
  • promote digital logistics solutions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • act as key liaison between factories, project teams, customers and internal stakeholders
