Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand walk for extended periods
- forklift certification or ability to obtain is required
- knowledge of OSHA safety standards and warehouse best practices preferred
- willingness to work flexible hours overtime or weekends if needed
Job Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in supply chain business logistics related field or equivalent experience
- minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control or materials management preferably in a manufacturing environment
- proficiency with SAP inventory modules WM or IM
- familiarity with ERP systems SAP preferred
- strong knowledge of shipping receiving and inventory control procedures
- proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel Word Teams and Outlook
- ability to read and interpret purchase orders bills of lading and packing lists
- effective leadership communication and problem-solving skills
- strong attention to detail and organization abilities
Job Duties
- Monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records using SAP
- performing SAP-recommended cycle counts and initiating random cycle counts based on operational need
- receiving and verifying incoming materials ensuring proper documentation and system entry
- identifying and investigating inventory discrepancies and resolving issues through data analysis and coordination with relevant departments
- managing material movements and storage to support production needs and improve inventory flow
- assisting with inventory reconciliation efforts and preparing for physical inventory counts
- generating and analyzing inventory reports to track trends and recommend improvements
- supporting continuous improvement efforts related to warehouse organization inventory control and material handling
- collaborating with purchasing production and quality teams to align inventory with production schedules and minimize shortages or overages
- adhering to company policies and safety regulations while contributing to a lean and efficient warehouse environment
