Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand walk for extended periods
  • forklift certification or ability to obtain is required
  • knowledge of OSHA safety standards and warehouse best practices preferred
  • willingness to work flexible hours overtime or weekends if needed

Job Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in supply chain business logistics related field or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control or materials management preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • proficiency with SAP inventory modules WM or IM
  • familiarity with ERP systems SAP preferred
  • strong knowledge of shipping receiving and inventory control procedures
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel Word Teams and Outlook
  • ability to read and interpret purchase orders bills of lading and packing lists
  • effective leadership communication and problem-solving skills
  • strong attention to detail and organization abilities

Job Duties

  • Monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records using SAP
  • performing SAP-recommended cycle counts and initiating random cycle counts based on operational need
  • receiving and verifying incoming materials ensuring proper documentation and system entry
  • identifying and investigating inventory discrepancies and resolving issues through data analysis and coordination with relevant departments
  • managing material movements and storage to support production needs and improve inventory flow
  • assisting with inventory reconciliation efforts and preparing for physical inventory counts
  • generating and analyzing inventory reports to track trends and recommend improvements
  • supporting continuous improvement efforts related to warehouse organization inventory control and material handling
  • collaborating with purchasing production and quality teams to align inventory with production schedules and minimize shortages or overages
  • adhering to company policies and safety regulations while contributing to a lean and efficient warehouse environment
