Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least twelve months of related work experience
- Ability to speak, write, and read English
- Typing speed of 25 words per minute
- Familiarity with technical freight software
- Must have three valid U.S. documents for SIDA badge and I9 form
- Ability to work evening schedule Tuesday to Saturday from 13:00 to 22:00
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum twelve months experience in international transportation, freight forwarding or brokerage
- Customer contact experience preferred
- Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute
- Knowledge of customs regulations preferred
- Proficiency with technical software and PC applications preferred
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Ensure efficient movement and clearance of import and export freight
- Handle freight held "in-bond" per customers' broker-select clearance option
- Comply with established regulations and procedures for international freight
- Utilize technical software such as Cosmos, Kiac, Visa, Famis, Tortes, AMS, IPBSO
- Maintain accurate records using word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Complete all required basic and recurrent training successfully
