Job Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • board certified or board eligible in interventional cardiology
  • valid New Mexico medical license
  • ability to participate in call rotation
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • commitment to patient-centered care
  • willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional growth

Job Qualifications

  • MD/DO board certified or board eligible interventional cardiology
  • licensed to practice medicine in New Mexico
  • experience working in multidisciplinary cardiology teams
  • strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Provides a full spectrum of interventional cardiology services in an inpatient and outpatient setting
  • participates in call rotation
  • makes all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen
  • manages the physician/patient relationship
  • assists in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards
  • enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops
  • performs other functions as required
