Job Requirements

  • Bachelors or equivalent international degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to travel regularly between USM campuses and throughout southern Maine
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with digital media tools and platforms
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors or equivalent international degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in media production, marketing, event coordination, or career services
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Proficiency in social media management and digital content creation
  • Experience with event planning and coordination
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and community partners
  • Familiarity with career development programs and student support services

Job Duties

  • Produce compelling student and employer success stories for social media and digital platforms
  • Develop print and digital marketing materials for the Career Exploration Internship Program
  • Manage social media strategy and maintain program webpages in collaboration with marketing partners
  • Plan and support key internship events such as orientations, networking, and final presentations
  • Assist students with internship application processes and interview preparation
  • Track, evaluate, and report program outcomes and metrics
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance program visibility and effectiveness
