Job Requirements
- Recent or current enrollment in a hospitality degree program
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to interact professionally with diverse teams and customers
- Basic computer literacy
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt
Job Qualifications
- Recent or current graduate of a hospitality program preferred
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers and patrons
- Ability to use point of service computer
- Ability to stand for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public, etc
Job Duties
- Shadow identified leaders within the department at the hotel
- Shadow each shift and each position within the outlet you are assigned to at the hotel
- Consistently attend department meetings as well as any leadership meetings at the hotel
- Become proficient with operating the PMS and all other systems used by the Food & Beverage team
- Utilize labor management tools to schedule and control labor costs
- Interact positively with customers and take action to resolve problems to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and policies
