Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food assembly or warehouse operations preferred
- basic math skills
- ability to work scheduled early morning shifts
- physical ability to lift 40 lbs
- ability to work in cold and hot environments
- good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills
- excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- ability to work in fast-paced environment, in and around industrial machinery
- ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites
- must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs/18 kgs
- must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
Job Duties
- Move, gather, and distribute product based on production schedule and daily work orders
- assemble food kits and send to shipping department for distribution
- store product and materials in predesignated areas and follow established sequence
- clean work area throughout shift
- may assist in compiling worksheets or tickets from customer orders
- may assist in recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed
- work with other machinery and material handling equipment
