Job Requirements

  • 6 years of international trip operations or flight planning experience
  • high school diploma or GED
  • strong computer skills

  • ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • comfort working non-standard hours and across time zones
  • FAA Dispatcher certificate or equivalent preferred
  • prior flight operations, dispatch, or trip planning experience preferred
  • knowledge of APIS, customs, and immigration processes preferred
  • experience with international regulatory compliance preferred
  • strong mathematical aptitude and aircraft performance knowledge preferred
  • multilingual skills preferred
  • associate's or bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Monitor and update trip planning tasks to ensure accurate and timely support for each trip
  • communicate with departure and destination airports, ground handlers, and local authorities to arrange required services
  • coordinate domestic and international customs processes including APIS setup
  • track active flights and provide real-time updates to airports, handling teams, and customers
  • create, verify, package, and transmit routine and complex flight plans, weather briefings, and contingency itineraries
  • acquire, distribute, and interpret aeronautical publications and NOTAMs for flight crew compliance and safety
  • maintain customer operational files including overflight and landing permits, diplomatic clearances, ground handling, fueling, hotel, and transport bookings
  • initiate and maintain flight folders using the Trip Planning System
  • advise customers on route and itinerary planning based on diplomatic requirements and operational constraints
  • research and update vendor and diplomatic clearance contacts
  • maintain strategic account profiles and document client preferences
  • support customer onboarding and usage of trip planning services
  • ensure flight planning adheres to FAA, EASA, and international regulations and best practices
