Job Requirements
- Associates degree related field or equivalent to 7 years in industry
- 5-7 years work experience in international freight forwarding industry
- minimum of 1-2 years in a supervisory position
- IATA certified
- DG certification desired
- proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer
- ability to handle conflicts with positive resolution
- strong oral and written communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours and in a high-volume, high-pressure fast work environment
- high standards in quality and service level agreements

Job Duties
- Supervise staff assignment distribution, reporting and absences
- monitor staff overtime and schedules
- maintain and ensure safety culture and quality standards
- execute all standard operating procedures (SOP), key performance indicators (KPIs), trainings, and other assignments
- provide leadership and management of international accounts
- conduct quarterly audits and reviews with direct reports
- set employee goals ensuring conformity to company standards and high performance
- conduct new-hire training for new employees
- develop the skills and competence of staff through training, coaching and on-the-job development
- manage office operations when the manager is absent
- perform all other duties as assigned
