Job Requirements
- 4 year degree
- 3 to 5 years international freight forwarding experience
- strong communication skills
- ability to use compliance and ERP software
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and spreadsheet software
- experience with logistics and supply chain software
- detail oriented
- ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties
- seek opportunities and challenges to maximize profit while reducing customer supply chain costs
- cooperate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives
- facilitate daily shipment activities
- provide status updates to customers
- process shipment and transportation activities for key customers
- provide instructions to external agents per standard operating procedures
- handle import shipments from origin to delivery
- update and accrue all costs in the operating system
- adhere to established customer SOP
- select shipment routes based on goods, transit times, and security needs
- reserve space on transportation modes
- arrange delivery or storage of goods
- consolidate loads to reduce costs
- complete shipping documentation
- inform clients of shipping options and regulations
