Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding
- proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to read maps and route freight shipments
- capacity to compile numerical or statistical data
- strong report preparation skills
- ability to work full time at the Irving, TX location
- no travel required

- Industry related degree and/or certification
- 3 to 5 years of international freight forwarding experience
- knowledge of transportation principles and methods
- understanding of customer service principles

Job Duties
- Seek opportunities and challenges in a manner that maximizes profit to the company while reducing customer supply chain costs
- cooperate with cross-functional teams to accomplish organizational objectives
- facilitate day to day shipment activity
- provide status updates to customers
- process shipment and transportation activities for key customer accounts
- provide instructions to external agents per SOP
- handle import shipments from origin pickup to delivery
- update info and accrue all costs in the operating system
- adhere to established customer SOP
- arrange delivery or storage of goods at destinations
