Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent required
- 5+ years experience in air, ocean, import and export operations required
- CCS-certified CargoWise specialist required
- CCO-certified CargoWise operator required
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Associate's degree or equivalent preferred
- 5+ years experience in air, ocean, import and export operations
- 7+ years experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics preferred
- Advanced knowledge of ITAR, DG or TSA regulations
- General computer skills
- CCS-certified CargoWise specialist
- CCO-certified CargoWise operator
Job Duties
- Work with customers to qualify their shipping requirements and obtain all necessary details for shipment quotation and operation
- Prepare profitable quotations accurately
- Set shipping schedules and communicate with customers, deliverers, and ports to verify loading, departures, and arrivals
- Coordinate day to day import and export of products including reviewing orders and documents
- Track and communicate delays, damages, and issues, and resolve customer problems
- Manage all aspects of air and ocean international operations including customer service, data entry, operations, and billing
- Coordinate recovery and delivery schedules with cartage agents and international partners
