Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in air, ocean, import and export operations
- CCS-certified coding specialist
- CCO-certified cargowise operator
- Advanced knowledge of ITAR, DG or TSA regulations
- Medium proficiency in general computer skills

- Associate's degree or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in air, ocean, import and export operations
- Preferred 7 years experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics
- Advanced knowledge of ITAR, DG or TSA regulations
- Medium proficiency in general computer skills
- CCS-certified coding specialist
- CCO-certified cargowise operator
- Dangerous goods certification preferred
Job Duties
- Work with customers to qualify shipping requirements and obtain all necessary documents for shipment quotation
- Prepare accurate and profitable quotations
- Set shipping schedules and communicate with customers, deliverers, and ports to verify loading, departures, and arrivals
- Coordinate day to day import and/or export of products including reviewing orders and documents
- Track and communicate all shipment delays, damages, and problems and resolve customer issues
- Manage all aspects of air and ocean international operations including customer service, data entry, operations, and billing
- Track shipments to ensure timely movement, identify and rectify deviations from schedule
- Coordinate recovery and delivery schedules with cartage agents and international partners
- Partner with local sales teams to communicate problems and updates to customers and international partners
- Ensure adherence to customer SOPs and company KPIs and guidelines
- Ensure timely and accurate billing of shipments within company guidelines and timelines
