Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or import/export operations
- strong understanding of U.S. customs regulations, international shipping documentation, and tariff schedules
- experience coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse providers
- proficiency in logistics management systems such as TMS, ERP, or similar
- strong analytical skills with the ability to track and report cost metrics
- excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills

Job Duties
- Coordinate international shipments from Europe primarily Germany to the U.S., ensuring on-time arrival and proper handling
- work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to track shipments and resolve delays
- maintain visibility of cargo departures, arrivals, and storage availability through shipment tracking systems
- interface between the customs department in Germany and CBP and customs brokers
- coordinate U.S. domestic logistics including storage, inventory release, and outbound shipments to customers or distribution centers
- track and analyze transportation, customs, and warehousing costs to support budgeting and cost-control initiatives
- communicate shipment status and cost impacts to supply chain, finance, and operations teams
- support continuous improvement of logistics and customs processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen compliance
