Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • two or more years of experience in international admissions, including evaluation of international credentials
  • ability to work with complex international student admissions procedures
  • excellent communication skills
  • familiarity with international cultures

  • proficiency in CRM systems
  • knowledge of immigration regulations including F and J visas
  • computer proficiency
  • commitment to international education
  • valid driver's license

  • familiarity with immigration regulations for F and J visas and SEVIS reporting
  • proficiency in computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, email and internet

Job Duties

  • Manage all aspects of the international admissions processes (undergraduate and graduate students, Intensive English Program, and sponsored students)
  • plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate processes and policy for international admissions, including foreign credential evaluation, internal processing, and communication plans
  • participate in strategic international enrollment planning, monitor data and prepare analysis and projections to inform the plan and ongoing strategies
  • manage foreign credentials evaluation including training staff, maintaining resources, and monitoring changes
  • manage the international admissions email account
  • supervise graduate assistant and manage international admissions social media accounts
  • collaborate to develop and coordinate website content
  • advise prospects, admitted students, families, and representatives
  • create and send targeted communication through CRM
  • assist in design and production of marketing materials targeting international students
  • develop and strengthen recruitment strategies and attend international recruitment events
  • participate in staff meetings and university committees
  • assist in training international recruitment representatives
  • serve as USI representative at recruitment fairs and embassy visits
  • establish and monitor measurable goals and objectives
  • serve as liaison between faculty, administrators, and prospective students
  • manage student workers and graduate assistant
  • perform other duties as assigned
