Job Requirements

  • high school diploma with relevant training and experience or equivalent
  • ability to carry camera equipment
  • ability to drive a state vehicle
  • willingness to travel overnight
  • associate or bachelor's degree may substitute for experience

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree in communications, video production, journalism, media, english, or a related field
  • at least one year of relevant experience in academic or professional external communication projects
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • excellent computer literacy
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • ability to work independently and in a team
  • attention to detail and deadlines

Job Duties

  • facilitate projects between the Communications Division and workforce divisions
  • track requests and initiatives
  • develop, prepare, edit, and coordinate informational materials
  • manage video production projects and writing tasks
  • work with agency stakeholders on project management
  • plan events and strategic communications
  • ensure adherence to deadlines within the Communications Department
