Job Description
This position is a Civil Service role within the Human Services Department, dedicated to improving the quality of life for community members facing food insecurity. The department plays a vital role in providing essential support services to vulnerable populations, ensuring equitable access to nutrition and related resources. This role is a full-time opportunity with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional weekend and overtime work as required by operational demands. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- relevant experience in food pantry or social services preferred
- ability to work Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- flexibility to work weekends and overtime as required
- reliable transportation
- ability to perform physical tasks related to pantry operations and maintenance
- strong interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications

- basic knowledge of general building maintenance

Job Duties
- Coordinate all aspects of pantry operations including monitoring inventory
- maintain product quality and restock supplies
- ensure pantry environment is clean, organized, and client ready
- assist with the Food Pantry, Anytime Food Program, and Clothing Closet
- perform general building maintenance for Human Services
- collaborate with staff, volunteers, and partner agencies
- support daily operations and ensure access to reliable food resources
