Job Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in Texas
- Completion of residency in internal medicine
- Ability to work Monday through Friday with minimal call
- Willingness to conduct home visits and travel locally
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Job Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine
- Experience or interest in house call medicine or geriatrics
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to patient-centered care
Job Duties
- Conduct home visits and provide comprehensive internal medicine care
- Lead a multidisciplinary team including RNs, MAs, and therapists
- Manage patient care plans and coordinate specialty services
- Utilize in-home diagnostic tools such as EKGs, ultrasounds, and laboratory services
- Educate patients and families on health management and aging in place
- Maintain patient records and oversee medication management
- Participate in continuing education and credentialing programs
