Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with 9 years of progressively responsible experience or bachelor’s degree in communications or related field with 5 years of experience in event management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate events or event management
  • Previous onsite event experience
  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, or fingers
  • Capability to move objects up to 10 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with significant experience or bachelor’s degree in communications or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of corporate event management experience
  • Experience working with all levels of management including executives
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and vendors
  • Strong project management skills from concept to execution
  • Experience in fast-paced environments with competing deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Plans and organizes internal events including researching and hiring vendors
  • Aligns agendas and speakers for events
  • Books venues and coordinates transportation
  • Invites participants and plans event activities
  • Prepares event materials such as name badges and signage
  • Communicates with stakeholders to update and align on event goals
  • Coordinates and project manages across multiple departments to execute events
  • Meets with leaders and executives to plan event specifications
  • Negotiates contracts with vendors and service providers
  • Manages event execution from setup through teardown
  • Evaluates events post-completion and processes invoices
  • Assesses potential vendors and locations for future events
  • Performs other duties as assigned
