Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or bachelor's degree
  • minimum 5 years of relevant event management experience
  • experience in corporate or agency event planning
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously
  • experience working with diverse stakeholders
  • organizational and negotiation skills
  • ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods
  • ability to perform repetitive motions and move objects up to 10 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 9 years of progressively responsible experience or bachelor's degree in communications or related field with 5 years of event management experience
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate events or event agency
  • previous onsite event experience
  • experience working with all levels of management including executives
  • proven ability to manage high volumes of projects and vendors
  • experience in fast-paced environments with competing deadlines
  • project management skills to drive events from idea to execution

Job Duties

  • Plans and organizes internal events including vendor research and hiring
  • communicates with stakeholders for event updates and alignment
  • collaborates and project manages across multiple company functions
  • meets with leaders to discuss event scope, format, budget, and special requirements
  • negotiates contracts with venues, caterers, and A/V providers
  • executes events from setup through teardown ensuring compliance and participant satisfaction
  • performs post-event evaluation and administrative tasks
