Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Willingness to complete a vocational baking and pastry education program
  • Currently enrolled PRCI tribal member
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, and multiplication
  • Ability to analyze problems and interpret technical instructions
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in environments with noise, heat, and smoke exposure
  • Ability to work with kitchen tools and equipment safely

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Work collaboratively with management and training staff to complete internship tasks
  • Interact effectively with the public and team members providing excellent customer service
  • Adhere to company policies and food and beverage department procedures
  • Work assigned shifts as required for hands-on training
  • Prepare and bake various breads, cakes, and desserts using established recipes
  • Maintain compliance with health, sanitation, and food safety standards
  • Keep workspace clean and sanitary in accordance with state health regulations
