Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary training preferred
  • Minimum three years experience working in a fast-paced high-end club or restaurant
  • Practice safe work habits and follow safety policies and procedures
  • Complete company-wide safety training and any additional job-specific safety training

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have professional training through culinary education or experience in a fast-paced high-volume fine dining restaurant or catering facility
  • Possess strong line experience for Ala Carte Service
  • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
  • Ability to read, speak and write in English
  • Ability to lift and transport food and other items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work all Prudential Center events including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Sufficient mobility to perform production tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Provide quick and efficient service to customers in fine dining culinary duties
  • Follow Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Supervisors' assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation
  • Prepare food items complying with portion size, quality standards, departmental rules, policies and procedures
  • Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained
  • Maintain safety standards, neatness and sanitation of work areas
  • Clean kitchen shelves, walls, floors and drains
  • Participate as a team player with responsibilities related to preparation, service and product delivery
  • Maintain proper sanitation for dining and cooking utensils and cookware
  • Handle and clean kitchen equipment carefully and safely
  • Adhere to company guidelines for appearance and uniform standards
