Job Requirements

  • seniors or graduate students pursuing degrees in business communications public relations nonprofit fundraising or event management
  • must have experience or strong interest in promotion sales or fundraising
  • excellent written communication skills
  • strong oral and presentation communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • proficiency in ms word excel outlook and powerpoint
  • basic knowledge of canva
  • reliable wifi connection
  • reliable transportation
  • availability for 20 hours per week weekday daytime hours
  • legal authorization to work in the united states without sponsorship

Job Qualifications

  • candidates who are seniors or graduate students pursuing a degree in business communications public relations nonprofit fundraising or event management
  • experience or interest in promotion sales or fundraising
  • demonstrated excellence in written communication skills
  • demonstrated skills in effective one-on-one and group communications and working professionally with community leaders volunteers and staff
  • effective oral and presentation communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment managing multiple priorities
  • intermediate to excellent proficiency in ms word excel outlook and powerpoint
  • basic knowledge of canva
  • required equipment reliable wifi connection and reliable transportation
  • minimum availability of 20 hrs per week monday to friday between 8 30 am and 5 pm
  • must be legally authorized to work in the united states for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future

Job Duties

  • assist with planning coordinating and executing pre-event logistics and on-site event management for community events
  • conduct pre-event outreach to attendees to support participation
  • assist with sponsor presentation preparation and materials for sponsor follow-up
  • pull reports data entry and organize event-related information
  • assist with administrative tasks such as preparing printed materials assembling thank-you cards organizing event supplies
  • support planning and execution of Hands-Only CPR demonstrations
