Job Requirements

  • Ability to start in Winter or Spring cohort
  • Willingness to undergo Ramp Control and Deicing Procedures training
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Valid work authorization for the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior customer service or operational experience is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Basic knowledge of airport operations or aviation industry preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

Job Duties

  • Assist in pre-planning and monitoring aircraft deicing/anti-icing procedures
  • Act as primary contact for coordination of aircraft deicing/anti-icing services
  • Maintain daily roster of estimated flight interruptions and deicing vehicle requirements
  • Communicate remote deicing locations to ramp controllers
  • Coordinate aircraft locations via deicing platform (Icelink) to pad commanders
  • Manage movement of all operating aircraft within Delta controlled ground movement areas
  • Serve as primary contact between FAA, ATC, Airport Authority, Terminal Operator, and Delta for aircraft movement coordination
