Job Requirements
- At least two years of line and fine dining experience
- Pastry experience required
- Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
- Must be able to perform basic and intermediate cooking skills
- Ability to work single station in the kitchen
- High volume pastry station experience
- Able to walk long distances and stand long periods
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull moderate weights
- California Food Handlers Certification
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
- Two years of previous line and fine dining experience preferred
- Pastry experience required
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently on a single station
- Experience in high volume pastry stations
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- California Food Handlers Certification required
Job Duties
- Prepare pastries and desserts with high quality and consistency
- Perform basic and intermediate cooking skills on the pastry line
- Operate and manage a single pastry station efficiently
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in all kitchen operations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production
- Adhere to recipes and presentation standards
- Support inventory management and ordering for pastry ingredients
