Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of previous line and fine dining experience
- Pastry experience required
- Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
- Ability to perform basic cooking skills
- Able to work at a single kitchen station
- Experience with high volume pastry production
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods and walk long distances
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
- California Food Handlers Certification required

- Valid California Food Handlers Certification
Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of pastry items including breads, cakes, and desserts
- Ensure all pastry products meet Hyatt quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to meet production schedules
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations including California Food Handlers Certification
- Assist in training junior pastry staff
