Job Requirements
- valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- respirator fit qualified
- regularly scheduled attendance required
- routinely lifts 50 lbs, occasionally 100 lbs
- reads small print
- identifies small finish imperfections
- hears sounds associated with mechanical deficiencies
- repetitive motion
- works with moving parts and vibration
- tolerates working in confined spaces
- tolerates products and materials associated with component maintenance
- tolerates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and sitting
- tolerates working in extreme temperatures and noisy environments
Job Qualifications
- high school graduate or equivalent
- six months related experience preferred
- basic knowledge of finishing materials and techniques
- ability to follow detailed instructions
- good communication skills
- willingness to learn new skills
- physical ability to perform routine lifting and activities associated with finish work
Job Duties
- prepares cabinet surfaces and substrates for paint or finish to customer satisfaction
- applies stains, dyes, paints or finishes to prepared parts
- mixes paint and stains as needed
- performs basic detail work, polish and clean-up on finished items
- prepares and signs off or understands various documents for record keeping
- follows FAA regulations and Duncan Aviation approved procedures
- performs other related duties as assigned
