Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- have access to reliable transportation
- authorized to work in the United States
- pass FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access to airport security areas
- obtain necessary airport authority and/or US Customs security badges if applicable
- hold a valid driver’s license required by airport authority
- able to walk, bend, stoop, lift, reach, and push for extended periods
- able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- able to work in confined and small spaces
- able to work in varying weather conditions including hot and cold
- comply with all safety regulations including use of personal protective equipment
- adhere to company policies as outlined in the employee handbook
- wear proper uniform attire
- clock in and clock out at scheduled shift start and end times
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years of age
- authorized to work in the United States
- capable of reading and understanding flight schedules
- must fulfill FAA criminal background checks for unescorted access to airport security areas
- must secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges if applicable
- valid driver’s license required to operate vehicles or equipment
- ability to follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment
- demonstrate respectful and helpful behavior towards employees, airline personnel, and passengers
Job Duties
- perform tasks as assigned by the lead or supervisor
- remove all trash from aircraft
- clean and restock all lavatories
- clean galley, all seats, seat back pockets, tray tables, and replace soiled magazines and sick bags
- conduct thorough security searches and submit all lost and found items to the immediate supervisor
- review and adhere to safety instructions when operating and driving ground equipment
- maintain company vehicles in a well-organized and clean manner
- assist in pre and post operation inspections of vehicles during the assigned shift
- review posted updates on cabin cleaning or ramp operations before each shift
- ensure all break room, warehouse, and dock areas are clean and free of debris
- perform duties safely ensuring no damage to company vehicles, airline equipment, or aircraft
- report any injury or property damage immediately to shift supervisor
- immediately notify shift supervisor of any irregular activities affecting airline service
