Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Access to reliable transportation
- Must be capable of reading and understanding flight schedules
- Must sign or clock in/out at start and end of shifts
- Proper uniform attire is required
- Must wear mandatory personal protective equipment during shifts
- Adhere to Employee Handbook rules and regulations
- Ability to pass FAA criminal background check for unescorted airport access
- Must secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges if applicable
- Valid driver’s license required to operate vehicles or equipment
- Ability to work overnight part-time shifts
- Must demonstrate respectful and helpful behavior to colleagues, airline personnel, and passengers
- Ability to work in confined spaces and under various weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in aircraft cleaning or similar role preferred
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate ground support equipment and company vehicles as required
- Must be able to pass FAA criminal background checks
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain and maintain airport security badges
- Physical capability to perform job duties including lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Perform tasks as assigned by the Lead/Supervisor and outlined in the scope of work
- Remove all trash from aircraft
- Clean and restock lavatories
- Clean galley, all seats, seat back pockets, tray tables, and replace soiled magazines and sick bags
- Conduct thorough security searches and submit all Lost and Found items to the Supervisor
- Review and adhere to safety instructions when operating and driving ground equipment
- Maintain company vehicles clean and organized and assist in pre and post operation inspections
- Review posted updates on Cabin Cleaning or Ramp Operations before each shift
- Ensure break room, warehouse, and dock areas are clean and free of debris
- Perform duties in a safe manner ensuring no damage to vehicles, equipment, or aircraft
- Report any injury or property damage to Shift Supervisor
- Immediately notify Supervisor of any irregular activities impacting airline service
