Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must have access to reliable transportation
- authorized to work in the united states
- must sign or clock in/out at beginning and end of shifts
- proper uniform attire required
- wear mandatory personal protective equipment (ppe)
- adhere to rules and regulations outlined in employee handbook
- demonstrate respectful and helpful behavior to others
- secure airport and/or us customs security badges if applicable
- physically able to walk, bend, stoop, lift, reach, and push
- able to walk and climb stairs
- capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- able to work in confined spaces
- exposure to hot and cold temperatures
- willing to comply with safety and security protocols
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in aircraft cleaning or custodial services preferred
- ability to read and understand flight schedules
- successful completion of FAA criminal background check for unescorted access (SIDA clearance) if applicable
- valid driver’s license as required by airport authority
- ability to work overnight shifts
- excellent attention to detail and safety consciousness
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
Job Duties
- perform tasks as assigned by the lead/supervisor and outlined in the scope of work
- remove all trash from aircraft
- clean and restock all lavatories
- clean galley, all seats, seat back pockets, tray tables, and replace soiled magazines and sick bags
- conduct thorough security searches and submit all lost and found items to the immediate supervisor
- review and adhere to safety instructions when operating and driving ground equipment
- maintain company vehicles in a well-organized and clean manner
- assist in pre and post operation inspections of vehicles during the assigned shift
- review posted updates on cabin cleaning or ramp operations before each shift begins
- ensure all break room, warehouse, and dock areas are clean and free of debris
- perform duties safely, avoiding damage to vehicles, equipment, or aircraft and preventing injury
- report any injury or property damage immediately to shift supervisor
- notify shift supervisor of any irregular activities that may impact service to airline partners
