Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in event coordination and management
- 3+ years managing social media and digital content
- Experience with traditional and unconventional marketing activations
- Proven budget and vendor management experience
- Ability to work at desk and on computer for extended periods
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events
- Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time
- Effective communication skills in person, writing, phone, and digital platforms
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in event coordination and management including trade shows
- 3+ years of experience managing social media platforms and digital content
- Experience delivering traditional and unconventional marketing activations
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and vendors for events
- Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills
- Proactive and adaptable with problem-solving capabilities
- Skilled in capturing photo and videography content
Job Duties
- Plan, organize, and execute internal and external events and activations from concept to completion
- Manage event logistics including venue selection, travel, catering, AV/tech, staffing, and run-of-show
- Ensure every event is executed on time, within budget, and aligned with brand standards
- Manage brand activation and production oversight of promotional items and swag
- Capture and manage digital content to amplify events
- Drive planning and capturing of event content for social and digital asset creation
- Assist with management of social media calendars and posting schedules
- Collaborate with designers, photographers, and media teams to create high-quality creative assets
- Monitor event engagement and report on event and social media effectiveness
- Partner with VP of Marketing to align events with business and marketing goals
- Contribute to measurable success metrics and post-event reporting
- Identify opportunities for traditional and unconventional marketing activations
- Source, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and event partners
- Review and negotiate favorable contract terms
- Oversee vendor performances for timely and quality deliverables
