Job Requirements
- Hold a current FAA Medical Certificate
- have FAA certificated flight instructor/instrument rating (CFI, CFII) airplane single engine land
- possess aircraft piloting skills including required flight maneuvers and procedures
- demonstrate knowledge of appropriate Federal Aviation Regulations
- ability to work well under pressure
- meet minimum qualifications per classification (IP I, IP II, IP III)
Job Qualifications
- FAA certificated flight instructor/instrument (CFI, CFII) airplane single engine land
- knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
- ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced and noisy environment while exercising sound judgment
- possession of current FAA Medical Certificate
- bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Science or related field (for IP II and IP III levels)
- experience with multiengine instruction and MEI or Gold Seal Flight Instructor Certificate (for IP III)
Job Duties
- Provide flight instruction in accordance with FAA and ERAU regulations
- conduct simulator training sessions
- deliver ground instruction meeting curriculum standards
- prepare detailed schedules and training plans
- maintain accurate student training records
- ensure compliance with flight course standards and objectives
- support students in meeting required FAA regulations and safety protocols
