Job Requirements
- Must possess and maintain FAA Class II Flight Physical or GACVA equivalent
- Must be qualified in AH-64Ev4
- Knowledge of Army Aviation training concepts, administration, and logistics
- Ability to work effectively with staff and team members
- Strong communication skills in English oral and written
- Professional communication on behalf of the company
- Previous AH-64D/E Standardization Instructor Pilot experience preferred
- Previous Aviation Master Gunner experience preferred
- Previous Foreign Military Sales and Security Assistance Team experience preferred
- Travel availability
- US citizenship required
- Security clearance required
Job Qualifications
- US citizen
- Graduation from authorized AH-64 Instructor Pilot Course
- Qualified on AH-64 series aircraft
- Experience as Aviation Tactical Operations Officer or Mission Survivability Officer
- Previously qualified as AH-64D Instructor Pilot
- Experience as AH-64D/E Master Gunner
- FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Helicopter Instructor Pilot Certificate or equivalent preferred
- FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Helicopter Instrument Instructor Pilot Certificate or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 2000 total flight hours on AH-64 series aircraft
- Minimum 3000 total rotary wing flight hours
- Minimum 1000 Instructor Pilot flight hours on AH-64D/E
- Minimum 150 Night Vision Goggle flight hours
- Minimum 500 Night Vision System flight hours
- Experience teaching at USAACE as AH-64D/E AQC flight line instructor
- Familiarity with USAACE methods of instruction
- Knowledge of Aviation Mission Planning System (AMPS) and Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE)
Job Duties
- Conduct flight training for AH-64D instructor pilots
- Evaluate and mentor instructor pilots CONUS and OCONUS
- Advise on AH-64D training program development and qualification standards
- Support validation and acceptance of Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS)
- Participate in design reviews and training system evaluations
- Provide operational support for field deployments and sustainment activities
- Ensure training content aligns with operational requirements and current aircraft configurations
