Job Requirements
- Be 18 years or older
- Be 21 years or older to deliver alcohol
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Have consistent access to a reliable vehicle
- Own a recent smartphone compatible with the Instacart app
- Have a valid driver’s license and insurance
- Have a clean background check
- Be able to pass vehicle inspection where required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in retail, delivery, or customer service is a plus
- Ability to use a smartphone and mobile applications proficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift moderate weights and stand or move for extended periods
- Knowledge of local stores and neighborhoods is beneficial
Job Duties
- Receive and accept customer orders through the Instacart Shopper app
- Shop for groceries and household items accurately and efficiently from local stores
- Pack and prepare orders to ensure quality and freshness
- Deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps following safety and customer service guidelines
- Communicate effectively with customers and support staff to resolve order issues
- Manage time efficiently to complete multiple orders within scheduled windows
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and vehicle during shopping and delivery
