Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- Have consistent access to a vehicle
- Own a recent smartphone capable of running the Instacart Shopper app
- Be at least 21 years old to deliver alcoholic beverages
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in retail, customer service, or delivery roles advantageous but not required
- Ability to navigate smartphone apps proficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to lift and carry moderate weights during shopping and delivery
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Job Duties
- Receive and review customer orders through the Shopper app
- Shop for grocery items carefully and accurately from local stores
- Pack groceries efficiently to ensure item safety and quality
- Deliver orders promptly to customers' doorsteps while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
- Handle customer inquiries and communicate effectively to ensure satisfaction
- Manage your schedule flexibly to optimize earnings
- Follow all company policies and local regulations related to delivery and safety
