Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older (21 or older to deliver alcohol)
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Consistent access to a reliable vehicle
- Ownership of a recent smartphone compatible with the Instacart Shopper app
- Ability to lift and carry groceries as needed
- Must pass background and driving record checks
- Willingness to comply with Instacart’s Independent Contractor Agreement
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or delivery roles is a plus
- Ability to use a smartphone and navigate the Instacart Shopper app
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Receive customer orders via the Shopper app
- Shop for groceries at local stores accurately and efficiently
- Deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps in a timely manner
- Communicate professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Manage time effectively to maintain a flexible work schedule
- Handle fresh and perishable items carefully during shopping and delivery
- Follow all safety and hygiene guidelines during shopping and delivery
