Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be 21 or older to deliver alcohol
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Have consistent access to a vehicle
- Own a recent smartphone
- Possess a valid driver’s license and insurance
- Be able to lift and carry grocery bags
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in customer service or retail is a plus
- Familiarity with mobile apps and smartphones
- Ability to navigate local stores and neighborhoods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual work habits
- Knowledge of grocery products and store layouts is advantageous
Job Duties
- Receive and review customer orders through the Instacart Shopper app
- Shop for grocery items accurately in stores
- Maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction
- Deliver grocery orders safely and promptly to customers’ doors
- Manage flexible work hours and select preferred shifts
- Handle order substitutions when items are unavailable
- Communicate effectively with customers and support teams
