Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old (21 years or older to deliver alcohol)
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Have consistent access to a vehicle
- Own a recent smartphone compatible with the Instacart Shopper app
- Pass any background check required by company policy
- Have a valid driver’s license and insurance if delivering
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in retail, grocery shopping, or delivery services is beneficial but not required
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
- Ability to use smartphone apps and technology effectively
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Receive and review customer orders through the Instacart Shopper app
- Shop for groceries accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications
- Select fresh, high-quality items and substitute products when necessary
- Deliver orders promptly and courteously to customers' doorsteps
- Communicate with customers to provide updates or resolve issues
- Manage earnings and payment options through the app
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while representing Instacart
