Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Consistent access to a vehicle
- Ownership of a recent smartphone capable of running the Instacart Shopper app
- Ability to lift and carry grocery bags and items safely
- Availability to work flexible hours depending on demand
- Subject to batch availability in your area
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail, customer service, or delivery experience is beneficial but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with mobile applications and smartphone technology
- Ability to navigate local stores and neighborhoods effectively
- Dependable and self-motivated with a customer-oriented mindset
Job Duties
- Receive and review customer orders through the Shopper app
- Shop for groceries and items accurately and efficiently from local stores
- Ensure products meet quality and safety standards
- Deliver orders promptly to customers' doorsteps
- Provide friendly and professional customer service throughout the process
- Manage payment and tips through the Instacart app
- Maintain communication with customers regarding order updates and delivery status
