Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- Have consistent access to a vehicle
- Own a recent smartphone compatible with the Instacart app
- Be 21 or older to deliver alcohol
- Agree to the Independent Contractor Agreement
- Have a valid driver’s license and insurance when applicable
Job Qualifications
- Ability to use a smartphone and the Instacart Shopper app effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of local store layouts and product locations
- Reliable and punctual with strong time management
- Comfortable with physical activity including walking and lifting bags
- Previous experience in retail or delivery services is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Receive and review orders through the Shopper app
- Shop for groceries and household items accurately and efficiently
- Deliver orders directly to customers' homes
- Communicate courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Manage inventory and substitutions if items are unavailable
- Follow health and safety guidelines while shopping and delivering
- Use the app to track earnings and available batches
